Ms. Thabang Baitlotli is the Junior Instructor. Motswana by birth and nationality, Ms. Baitlotli is a language teacher by training, one of the finest products of the University of Botswana, with a sound and longstanding experience in the language classroom. Ms Baitlotli adds immense value to WordPal. Her understanding of language and her enthusiasm to share the knowledge of language with others makes anyone learning with her a more positive human being

Mr. Matias Sacotingo, Director of WordPal, is the Senior Instructor, Senior Translator and Senior Interpreter. Angolan by birth and nationality, and currently staying in Botswana, Mr. Sacotingo is a language teacher, a translator and interpreter by training and by profession. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) from the University of Namibia specialized in English and Sociology. He also holds a Diploma in Teaching of English as a Second or Foreign Language from Heriot Watt University’s Moray House Institute of Education of Edinburgh, United Kingdom (1992), was sworn in as a translator English<>Portuguese by the High Court of Namibia in May 2011 and is a member of the U.K.-based Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL). His record also shows a 31 year-long experience working in the field of English< >Portuguese translation and interpreting, in places including Windhoek (Namibia), Houston and Washington, D.C.  (USA) and Gaborone (Botswana). Having lived and worked in English speaking environments and completed several years of University training in aggregate, Mr. Sacotingo possesses solid knowledge and command of both Portuguese and English, a unique understanding of today’s language use, needs and trends, as well as tried and tested skills in language teaching, translation and interpreting. Mr. Sacotingo’s clear understanding of SADC as one of Africa’s fast growing economic and development blocs gives him an edge as a language instructor, a translator and an interpreter, all of which adds the much-needed value to WordPal mission and vision.
